I know this is an old posting , but I was wondering if you had made any connection on your Comstock line?? I have just recently found out that My ggreatgrandmother was born in Canada... She was Mary Elizabeth Comstock also known as Eliza.. she married Henry Hall .. she was born according to census around 1855 in Canada.. but traveled to Minnesota, South Dakota, Okla. Missouri.. at one time North,and South Dakota and Minnesota was known as the Dakota Terr. she had 6 children with Henry Hall.. and I believe she may have died in childbirth around 1885 in the Royalton Minn. area.. I know at one time they lived in Lake county, South Dakota... according to census.. Most of her children and husband are buried in Okla...I don't have any information on her family.. parents names or sibblings... I thought you might know if your Comstock had any sibblings...Back then they usually traveled together as a family or where other family member were... I don't know why they were in Minn. or South Dakota.. Hope this rings a bell with you. I have run up against a brick wall... Thanks for any help you might give me... dlb
