I am researching my Comstock line in the Jackson Co area. My great grandmother was Dora Alice Comstock. Her father was Henry Comstock. He was born possibly in Battle Creek, MI. In 1874 he married Elizabeth Josephine Newberry in Osceola, MI. They had 4 children : Eva 1874, Dora 1876, Mamie1878, and Charles Ernest1881. Charles died and is buried in Albion, MI. Eva married June Paddock from Concord, MI. Dora married Charles Shafer in 1892. I do not know who Mamie married. I remember Eva and Mamie but just slightly as I was a child. I am having trouble linking him to his parents. I would appreciate any help I can get.
