Looking for a descendant or relative of this gentleman of Louisiana birth. He was at the U. S. Naval Academy when the Civil War broke out, and resigned to join the Confederacy. Ruising to the rank of lieutenant, he was killed in action at the Battle of Mobile Bay. I have no family information.
