Hi folks,
I'm not sure if we're related, but my father's (John Arthur Comrie) father's name was Frederick Comrie and he was born in Scotland and lived in India (was in the British Army) and moved here to Canada to the province of Alberta before moving to Ottawa, Ontario where he and his wife Mabel (Faint) had my father.
I don't have a lot of information regarding Frederick other than he had a sister or a sister in law named Ethel.
If this is the same man you're referring to, please let me know, as this would really help in my quest for more info.
