I am looking for info on Catherine Comrie who had a baby boy while living at 31 Hinshaw st Glasgow on 5th May 1921
The baby boy was given to the family of the father's in Dundee[His name is not on the birth cert but it is common knowledge that he was the father.] . He still lives there. I cannot find out what happened to Catherine. I know that she was the daughter of a crofter from Blairinroar Muthil near Comrie. She was born in 1887. I got information from the 1913 census re what I think was her family. She was thirteen at the time. Her parents were Duncan Comrie and Mary McGowan. She had a sister Mary B 1881 and brothers Donald B 1890, Alexander B 1894, William B1895, John, B 1882
The Father died 1925 and the mother in 1920. a year before her daughter had an illegitimate child.
Hopefully this info might be of interest to anyone researching the scottish side of the comrie clan
