It would apear Christian McCowen didn't come to Canada (Upper Canada) as Duncan Comrie married Janet Miller 25 Sep 1826 in Comrie, Comrie Parish, Scotland.
Christian McCowen was married to Duncan Comrie 7 Nov 1819 in Comrie, Comrie Parish, Scotland had one son William born in "Scotland" in 26 Aug 1820. He died Otonabee Twp., Peterborough Co., Ontario.
Janet Millers first child was Margaret born on 6 Aug 1827 in Comrie, Comrie Parish, Scotland and also died Otonabee Twp., Peterborough Co., Ontario.
There is a five to six year differnce between the marriages.
