I'm not sure if this is the correct forum, but these are my questions:

Why should I purchase a family tree software program, if I have been maintaining my family tree on ancestry.ca.

Is there a software program that will allow me to upload all of the data in Ancestry.ca, including that contained in Ancestry's shoebox.

I currently maintain my family tree by using my Ipad. Is there a specific software program that I should use so that all records can be updated on the ipad.

What is the best software for printing charts, records, photos, etc.?

Many thanks for your ideas?
