Cut 'n Paste Theft of Data

Maybe I'm just getting cranky in my dotage, but I've developed a real peeve about people harvesting data from my website. A couple of 'em (sisters in fact) are so blatant with this brand of theft that they just cut 'n paste from the website directly onto postings here at the GenForum and at our surname Rootsweb Mail List.

I have posted notices concerning Privacy and Copyrights at the website, all to no avail.

Is there some way to code the HTML at the website that will prevent this kind of thievery? Would a PDF format do the trick?

I'm open to all suggestions.
