I found
a John Comp b.abt 1843. He was the son of Samuel and Catharine(Barr)Comp. He was married to Catherine Forrer Oct.31,1867 who died Feb.14,1917.They had seven children, Crist and Samuel of Perry Co,Pa.;John and Charles of Stickney, S.D; Park L.or Presho of So. Dakota,Mrs. Ed Stutzman, of Perry Furnace; Mrs. F.W. Rambo, of Harrisburg. One sister Mary J., He died at the home of his son Charles A. Comp in Stickney, So.Dakota. December 21,1924. I did find that Samuel and Catharine did go to Sandwich, Illinoiis, DeKalb County. If this is the family you are looking for the "Perry County Historians" they are Genealogical Historians of Perry County, Pennsylvania. I went into a great folder on them yesterday. If this is your family you can find alot at this places I did. address is THE PERRY HISTORIANS, P.O. Box 73,
