Perry Como's Mother 1920 in WV

There is a story in our family that Perry Como's mother and my grandmother are sisters. My grandmother was Maria DiNobile and she had two sisters Teresa and Assunta. They were born in Lanciano Lettopalena Italy. My grandmother married Constantino D'Amico (later Domico) and they lived in Masontown, Preston County WV. The story is that Perry and his mother visited her sister in Masontown. If anyone has any info on this please let me know.
