I descend from their son John m. Sarah Dixon. He had two children in Randolph Co. NC., Issac and Mary He and his wife died young. His daughter Mary became an unwed mother and had my great-great-great grandfather John who she named after her father. John m. Rachel Clark and moved to Clarksville, Hamilton Co. IN where he had a blacksmith shop and a homestead that includes the Commons cemetery. He moved his mother Mary to Indiana His two oldest sons died due to disease/drowning during the Civil War although Robert already had a family. My great-great grandfather, James A. was too young to go, so he survived and took over the family farm. He married Nancy Ann Huntzinger. There is a book referred to in the Commons and allied families about Mary's family. I finally found it in Richmond, IN in the public library.

I would enjoy hearing from anyone working on this family.
Ann
