Here is some information I have on Rachel Commander:bornabout1738. 1st marriage to William Brockington,Jr. around 1742..John McCants was a witness to Brockingtons will.
Perhaps-- there was one chlid of this marriage who would be Joseph Brockington who is mentioned in the "History of the Old Cheraws" Rachel's second Husband was John Mccants.. I have more info on Commanders if anyone is interested e-mail me. Laura
