George Comley - Unadilla, NE - 1890's

Would like to share a letter I have written by George Comley with descendants of his. He was in Unadilla, Otoe, Nebraska in December of 1890. He was married to Emma Coye who was from New York and I believe they had at least two boys.

The letter came from Emma's grandfather's will. After Emma's father Horace Coye died in 1872 in New York. Her mother Adeline took Emma and her 2 brothers to Nebraska. The two brothers died along with their mother in Unadilla. (Herbert 8 yrs and Charles 11 yrs old when died) within 2 years of each other. 1878-79.

I have no other information on George Comley, other than in his letter he states he has a lot of livestock so he must of been on a ranch.

This letter is a treasure for his descendants to read. His writing and spelling is good so I believe he must of been a well educated man.

If anyone would have any information on where the Coye's are buried in Otoe I would appreciate you e-mailing me. Or any other information.
