According to The Comly Family in America, 1939, p. 56, Mary Comley who m. Nicholas Merriman was d/o James and Charity (Hooker) Comley. That James (b. 1741) was s/o James and Mary. Nicholas Merriman (b. c. 1755 or 1756?) may have m. (1) Ruth Sater by license dated 10/10/1781. Mary was still his wife in 1806 when he sold his Balto. Co. property, thus precluding him from being the same Nicholas who m. Sarah Anderson in 1798. Nicholas who m. Mary Comley may have been s/o Samuel and Jane (Price) Merryman.
