Searching for information about a John Comly/Conly who married Honor/Honour Kemp 19 Aug. 1781, in Maryland. There was a James Comly family ( I believe he may have descended from a Henry Combly, but I'm not sure) who came from Abington Monthly Meeting in PA. to Gunpowder Monthly Meeting in Maryland 1758. It states that John Comly of James was disowned for going out of meeting with a young lady not of their faith. I found a John Comly in an 1800 Census for Harford County, the Harve-de-Grace area, but I don't know if this is this John Comly and Honor Kemp. Does anyone have any information on this James Comly and his children, who they married etc.? We have hit an 18 year brick wall with our Kemps, and are DESPERATE for information.
