comforts in southeast england from 1760

I have been researching Comforts in SE England, and have some lines back to 1760.
Would be interested to hear of any Comforts that emigrated from Kent (especially the villages of Cliffe or Cooling) to the US.
I was surprised to see how widespread the Comfort name seems to be in the US. There are relatively few in UK.Has anyone heard the story of Comport childrens graves in Cooling churchyard being those mentioned in "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens?
