Hi Kevin, I corresponded a couple of times with your dad in past years - will be glad to help however I can. There's a copy of this book at one of the Harvard libraries, but I have to confirm that I can browse it (it's in the rare book library). I'm not exactly sure what type of information will be helpful to you -- apparently there are several volumes to this collection. I'll do a general review - but let me know if I should be looking for something specific, other than the Comfort name.

(Just fyi, an email from Ken in April, 2001 says, "Yesterday, I had the pleasure of hearing a presentation by John B. Hellerman who is a prominent genealogist. After lunch, I had the opportunity to speak with Mr. Hellerman. I told him of the difficulty that I was having with "the three brothers who came over on the ship America and then went their separate ways."
Mr. Hellerman laughed at this and told me that Comforts are not the only family with this legend. He stated that he hears it more often than not from the various families that engage his services. Even to the ship "America.")

Take good care over there,
Sharon
