Not much traffic on this list, but it seems worth a try...
My lineage is from Stockton, CA, back to the Chicago area (Palatine, IL), and then back to "English Canada," according to census records.
I am interested in any information on any members of these families, but especially:
Josiah Comfort (b. 1829, Canada, d. circa 1879, Palatine, IL)
Wesley R. Comfort (b. 1855, Canada)
Josiah M. Comfort (b. 1878, Palatine, IL)
Charles Benjamin Comfort (b. 1861, Palatine, IL, d. Stockton, CA)

Any possibility of connection with the Canadians in Ame Pratt's message?
