I have seen George given as the son of John S. and Jane (Cooper) Comfort, and also as the son of Ellis ans Ann (Ivins) Comfort.
He was married to Ann Elizabeth Comfort, b.1837, who has been given as the daughter of Moses and Mercy (Comfort) Comfort.
Is there proof for the parents of George?
