Now as far as Benjamin's father. Best information is that is was Robart Comfort. No information on the monther. Story is that there were three brothers, Samuel, Richard and Robart who came together on the Ship American to the colonies. One story says they came to Long Island, and one story says they came to Virginia. Story was that it was about 1690. Robart listed in the 1698 census of Newtown Long Island, with a family of six.

Benjamin was one of Robart's sons. Comfor name goes was back in the UK, but no direct connection between the three brothers and where they came from in the UK.
