Sheila, I see you are an historian on the Comforts so am hoping you may help one step further. John Harris Comfort is the age time would fit but I am looking for a Mary Comfort born 1826. I can't seem to find her family for sure anywhere. We have always been told she was Indian and married in Canada in 1849 and when in Wisc in the 1850's and 1860's had to pass as white and got rid of pictures. Any way this can be run down. We have her children and grandchildren. Have been able to do our tree on her husbands side but are at a block wall on hers.Any help would be apreciated, Thank you e-mail bbdecor@webtv.net
