In the 1850 Census, Hatfield Township, Montgomery County, PA I found a Joseph Comford age 51 with wife Mary age 43, and many children. I also found a Samuel Comfort age 41 and wife Catharine age 38. Their children are Margaret age 11 and Samuel age 4. Hope this helps.
