I would like to lay on you some information about the family of Philias Comeau.
He was born March 6, 1862 to Elzear Comeau and Celina Doucet. On June 23, 1884 He married Marie Cormier. She was born August 6, 1868 to Charles Cormier and Caroline Bourque.
Their first child (out of 12), Oscar Joseph was born May 4 , 1885.Their next child, Wilfred Joseph, was born December 12, 1886.
In 1887 They moved to the U.S. and changed the family name to Como. Philias changed his name to Felix.
Their son, Albert Joseph was born February 6 1889.
They had daughters Louise Mary, Lena Mary, and sons Earl Joseph, Edward Joseph In 1890, 1892, 1894, and 1896 respectively.
In 1898 a diphtheria epidemic hit Little Falls, MN. The youngest 4 children all died on the same night.
Their next child, Alfred Joseph was born June, 17, 1900. He left home as a young man and no one in the family knows what has happened to him since.
They then had a daughter, Laura Mary on July 2, 1901.
Their next son, Edward Joseph on November 6, 1903.
They then had Ernest Joseph on October 15, 1905.
Then came Maurice Joseph on September 7 1911.
During the influenza outbreak, Felix caught the disease and passed away on October 29 1918.
Marie died of Pneumonia on August 17, 1939.
Oscar married Laura Ellen Pearson on November 6, 1920.
She was born in 1893, and died May 17, 1929.
Oscar died April 19, 1932. They have two daughters, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Wilfred disliked sharing the middle name Joseph with all of his brothers and went by Wilfred Adelard Como. He married Elizabeth Ploof on July 30 1907. She was born May 3, 1890 and died October 14, 1977. Wilfred died January 8 1955.
Their Daughter Burdette lived from 2/17/1908-4/25/1995.
Their second daughter, Regina was born March 12, 1910 and died August 28, 2007.
Their son, Herbert was born January 26, 1914 and died March 27, 1991.
Their daughter Viola was born October 15, 1915 and died February 7, 1998.
Their son Robert is living at age 89. His son Robert lived from November 17, 1953 to August 22, 2008.
Their daughter Marion was born June 27, 1921 and died 1978.
Their last child, Wilfred was born November 27, 1928 and died December 10, 2002.
They have 23 Grandchildren, 32 Great-Grandchildren, and 18 Great(2)-Grandchildren.
Albert Joseph died April 29 1970 and married Eva. She was born 6/1/1897 and died 3/27/1994.
They have two living children and one not-living son.
Laura died January 9, 1998. She outlived her husband William(1896-1967). They had two kids. One died in 1993 of Lou Gehrig's disease. The other is 72.
Edward also disliked sharing the middle name Joseph and used Bruce.
He married Viola Elizabeth Woodley(3/8/1906-9/28/1995) on November 6 1923, his 20th birthday.
He died of Cancer on May 18, 1974.
They had 9 Children between 1924 and 1946.
Their first son is 85 and his wife was Cora Van Mills(12/14/1925-4/9/2002). They have 5 kids, 10 Grandchildren, and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Their son Jeffrey Bruce Was born January 26, 1962 and was stillborn.
Their second son William had no children, was a WWII vet., and was born February 8, 1926 and died March 21, 1966.
Their daughter Beverly is 82 and Maried Robert(5/2/1918-5/21/2001). They have descendants.
Their daughter Donna and her husband Donald are both dead.
She was born August 18, 1928 and died September 7, 1985.
Donald was born August 6, 1928 and died May 26, 1999.
They have Descendants.
Their next child was My grandfather Donald. He was born March 10, 1930 and died July 7, 2005. My father was an only child, as was I.
Their next kid, Elizabeth, lived from December 1932-March 1933.
Their son Patrick is 72 and has descendants.
Their son Micheal is 66 and had two kids. His son Clifford died October 1, 1980 of Leukemia, two months before his 15th birthday.
Their last Child was Robert(11/2/1946-5/11/1984) He had one son Paul.
I have Very little information on Ernest and Maurice.
