Sorry I haven't been in touch with you for awhile but I haven't been to the Comeau page for some time.
First, Stephen White at the Centre d'etudes acadiennes, Universite de Moncton is the authority on Acadians. According to Stephen the Comeau line is only confirmed to Pierre Comeau who is married to Rose Bayon. Anything beyond that is suspect!!!
What you have from Pierre and Rose down to Antoine and Madeleine Dugas is correct. I have a book that was prepared by Andre Comeau and he does not show Marin in the family of Antoine and Madeleine Dugas. That, of course, doesn't mean he doesn't belong there.
