Seeking information on the family of John Combs, tenant farmer, who leased land from the VanRensselaer's in the Town of Watervliet, N.Y. in 1796 and released the lease to Darius Stevenson in May, 1867. It would appear that Combs lived in the Town of Watervliet for over a half century.
