And thank you for your compliments. Haven't added too much new stuff to my website since Ancestry bought out Rootsweb.
I have Long Jerry Combs's daughter Elizabeth by Nancy ____ married to Massingale Mart Combs, Sr. on 14 Feb 1825 in Perry Co. They had Massingale Birx Combs, Jr. on 07 Jul 1841. The Jr married Annie Williams dau of Pleasant D. Williams and Rebecca Elizabeth Bettie Fugate. I hope I have this correct.
My great great grandfather Nicholas "Shanghai Nick" Combs was married to Eliza Jane Williams d/o Nicholas Williams and Ann Williams.
This Williams family in all of this post is believed to have Native American blood.
