First, thank you for the wonderful website (Perry County and Stuff). I am descended from Van Buren Combs s/o Robert W. (Black Bob) Combs and Jane Brewer. My confusion lies in following- Did Jeremiah "Long Jerry" Combs have daughter Elizabeth married to Massingale "Mart" Combs who had son Birx (also Massingale} married to Anna (Annie) Williams? Any truth to rumor that Annie was at least part Native American? Also, was Nicholas "Shanghai" married to Eliza Williams, first cousin to Anna Williams? Thanks for any help.
