Thanks so much for your quick response. I figured it was a long shot, but it never hurts to ask.

Transcription of old documents can be very tricky as I'm sure you know, and I have found many mistakes on census records of my ancestors. Some through transcription and some with the original census taker. I have found "Mills" spelled "Milla" and "Wood" spelled "Weed", to name a few. And obviously with "Burns" there are many variations.
