If we are talking about the same Arlis Combs [ and i think we are] He was the son of James Combs and Martha Mitchell. James was a brother to my great grandmother Allie Combs.
James was born in 1880 in White County Ar and moved to Madison County, Ar with his father and new Step Mother before 1900.
The last heard of Arlis was when his sister Wilma Combs Acord died in Johnson County, AR in 1985 At that time Arlis [ called Ardis in the Obit] was living in Hornerville, Dunklin County, MO. His other sister Dorlis Combs died in 1989 in Christian County, Mo.
