There was a Samuel Coman who was the son of Stephen Coman and Alice Winsor Coman. He died in Madison County New York. His brothers were Winsor, Ziba and Benjamin Coman. Winsor was born in Rhode Island,in 1776, Benjamin in 1780 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusett
and died in Eaton, Madison County, New York.
The only other data I have on Samuel is from the History of Madison County page 309. Samuel Coman was the father to the wife of Rev. William Dean, many year ago the noted missionary to china.
