I do have a copy of the SAR application. I am not sure, though, if we are of the same line. My SAR records confirm that Cornelius R. Colyer (who married Sarah Elizabeth Young) is s/o Smith Colyer and Angeline Remsen, grandson of Cornelius Remsen (b. 8/23/1785) and Tabitha Hunt (b. 1/30/1788).
Frank Chase Colyer (s/o Cornelius R. Colyer) had SAR application #20352, and State (ny) #2352. Typed on top of the application is "same ancestor as #2311 and #2312".
It seems impossible that my C.R. Colyer is the same as yours. But they could certainly be related. It is possible that Smith was a brother to your Johannes Kolyer (who both married Remsens). Do you have any more information?
