Its so good to hear from you. I live in California. Our dates on the Colyers differ slightly. My husband is a descendant of Eliza Colyer and Joseph Applegath who married in 1841. Eliza's father was Edward Colyer, b. 1795, married Jane Thread in 1818. Then, John Colyer, b. 1760, married Ann (Hannah) Withal; Edward Colyer, b. 1720, married Ann Anslett; and John Colyer, b. 1690, married Mary Knight. All were from England. We visited the graves of Eliza and Joseph, and Edward and Jane, last summer in the Wanboro Cemetery, Albion, Illinois. I can send you pictures if you are interested. Was John Colyer the only one in his family to come to America? Would like to keep in contact with you.
