My gggrandfather was Samuel S. Colvin, b. Aug. 14, 1802 in SC, d. March 18, 1871 in LA, m. Margaret Boyd Morrow in AL on Sept. 17, 1829. I do not have an Irvin listed among the children, but I do not know if my list is complete.
Children I have are: John B. Colvin, Margaret Elizabeth Colvin (my ggrandmother), William Francis M. Colvin, Mary Jane Sophia Colvin, and kSamuel Washington Boyd Colvin.
Samuel and Margaret Morrow left Al and went to Itawamba Co., MS. I believe that is where Margaret died. Apparently Samuel went on to LA where he died.
