I am related to the Colvin Family that originated
in Sperryville Va. My paternal grandmother was
the late Susie Ethel Colvin. Her father was
William Thomas Colvin, born in the 1800s and died
in the early 1940's. William Thomas Colvin married
my great grandmother, Rosa Maude Rutherford and
had the following children including my grandmother,
Thomas Hayward Colvin, died in 1981; Mary Beale
Colvin, died in 1995; Vergie Pearl Colvin, died in 1991;
Violet Lea Colvin who died in 1971; and still living
is my great aunt, Eliza Virginia Colvin who is
living in Warrenton and in her 80's.
