Our Jonathan Boyden b 2/20/1651/52 in Boston is the son of Thomas Boyden, b abt 1614 in Suffolk, England and d. aft 1682. His wife was Frances ?? who d. March 17, 1657/58 in Boston or Medfield. He m. again Nov 3, 1658, in Boston, to Hannah (Phillips)Morse, widow of Joseph Morse. Thomas came to New England in the ship 'Francis' from Ipswich, Suffolk Co., England in April 1634. He was 21. This came from the book "Thomas Boyden and his Descendants" by Wallace, Merrill and Amos Boyden 1901. If I can be of anymore help, let me know. A bit of trivia, in 1678 he subscribed "one bushel of wheat to the new brick college" (Harvard), joining many other citizens contributing similar commodities in aid of a building partly completed.
