Alex,

I would be interested to know what you think the chances are that my ancestor, Maria Colvin (b. 23 May 1819) in "east" Virginia, is somehow related to the Colvins that you are researching. She married Joseph Hall 4 February 1841 in Guernsey Co., OH.

She had 8 known children with Joseph:

Eliza
Jesse
Franklin
Calvin
Smith
Alexander
Maria
Sanford
