I am trying to find Samuel S. Colvin's father. Samuel was born in South Carolina in 1802. His wift Mary Boyd Morrow (1808)was born in Chester county S.C..They had the following children: John J.(1830 Ala.), Margarett (1833 Ala), William F. (1837 Miss), Mary J.(1840 Miss), Sophish j., Martha F., Josephine E. Samuel Washington Boyd Colvin (1844 Miss).

THEY LIVED IN:
1820 MARION COUNTY, ALABAMA
1840 ITAWAMBA COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI
1860 COLUMBIA COUNTY, ARKANSAS
1871 ALLEN PARISH, LOUISIANA

I HAVE THE COLVIN BOOK FROM LA COULD NOT FIND ANY CONNECTION.I THINK SAMUEL S WAS BORN IN CHESTER COUNTY BUT HAVE NOT FOUND HIM IN ANY COLVIN HOUSEHOLD. I FIRST FOUND HIM IN MARION COUNTY, ALABAMA. THANKS FOR ANY HELP.
