WD Colvin - N LA...2 wives?

I am researching my line, Richards, and have a daughter of my ancestor, James W. RICHARDS, who appears to have married a WILLIAM DALLAS COLVIN (b 18 In 1860, Wm and MARTHA A. COLVIN are living in Jackson Parish with a 3yo daughter, Elizabeth, and Martha ALDORA Richards Colvin's brother, Rufus Richards (b 1838 AL d ?). Many Colvin researchers have her listed as AMANDA and that she is buried in the Old COlvin Cem. in Lincoln Parish. But our Martha Aldora Richards Colvin appears to be living in the same area in 1880 of now Lincoln Parish without a husband. I now believe that Wm D probably had two wives, with the first names AMANDA and dying in 1849 and buried at Old Colvin Cem. with a daughter, Eldora. The reason for my interest in this indirct line is I am trying to figure out where Rufus might be buried. I think it might be possible that he and possibly she are in the same parish cemetary...
Anyone got a comment on this family? Anyone researched this line?

Thanks for any help
