There is a lot of information on the internet about Sarah Fairchild, but almost nothing about John Colvin. I believe there are many interested people who would like to know about John's father, Abijah. I certainly would. I have never been able to determine who John's parents might be, but I am fairly sure that his popular birthdate of 1799 is too late, otherwise he would have been 11 when he married Sarah. I have estimated his actual birthdate to have been between 1785 and 1790. This is just MY ESTIMATE. I am eager to share, and learn. Thanks for the post!
