I think your family is decendend from John & Hanna Price Colvin of Chester County South Carolina. The first Colvins came to La. about 1812 and settled just north of Ruston. This family has been well documented in a book with photos. The family has a reunion in Unionville just south of Dubach each 1st Saturday of August. I hope this information is helpful.
