My ggg grandfather was Drury Sanders who came to Boone Co., MO in 1832. His wife was Elizabeth Colvin. Elizabeth must have died young/perhaps childbirth because the estate file of Drury Sanders makes him guardian for the minor children and their inheritance from Benjamin Colvin. Also, when Drury Sanders died he share-cropped with John Colvin and as an "old settler for Missouri" he wrote an article for the newspaper in 1868 along with another old settler, Garland Colvin. I believe them all to be of the same family but have not proved. Please, can anyone help me? You may email me direct: Lyntalk48x@aol.com
