Nancy, I am from the Edward, brother of Nicholas, line. According to my information Edward married a Pratt. Edward either had a son Edward who married JaneW or he remarried a Jane W. They had several children, my great-great grandfather beind one of them, William. His son John David COlvin married Lillie Bodie of Edgefield , SC - They raised their family in Lincoln Parish, LA. and their daughter Alberta (Beverly) was my heart, my grandmother.

Interestingly, I have seen your Virginia Turner's name on the messages and sent her one to see if she was my second cousin Virginia Turner and got no response. I realize now it was just coincidence, since Virginia's maiden name was Turner and married is LaDart. She was the Dtr. of my Great-Aunt Mae Colvin Turner.

Keep your spirit, keep your heart and with grace and pride America will maintain hers. Kathleen (Katscott7@aol.com)
