The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa

HARRY SHIMP and MISS FLORA COLVER were joined in wedlock, at the home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. J.J. COLVER, in Cedar Township, Wednesday, Aug. 26, Rev. Stote of Russell, performing the ceremony.
This couple represents two of Lucas County's best young people, both being
natives of Cedar Township, known and respected by a large circle of friends.
They are both matter-of-fact and industrious and will succeed in life with
the ordinary chances allotted to the diligent. They have wisely decided to
settle down to home life on the farm -- residing on the SHIMP homestead.
The Leader joins their friends in well wishes and hopes that every
anticipation may be realized.
