My husband's gg grandfather was William Houston Colvard. I know that he had 7 brothers and one was named John. I knew he was from NC but did not have his birth date and marriage date, thanks. He and Melvina Jane "Jenny" Graves had 12 children. 3 girls that died at young ages. Addie died at age 4, Nancy m Wilson Choate, Melvina "Mell" m John Stewart, William m unk Cruse, Henry m Edna Cruse, John, Thomas Newton m Ellender Darden (My husbands g grandfather), Benjamin never married, George killed in accident at age 9. Most of these are buried in Pleasent Hope, MO. I have not been to the cemetery yet but plan to do so soon. It is not far from where I live. I have more info if this is the one you are looking for. I do not have William's parents names yet.
