I am seeking a descendant or close relative of a Neva M Colter who was born 11 June 1898 and died 3 Aug 1947. Her funeral card shows burial at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Lansing, Ingham County, Michigan. A short newspaper item spelled her name as Coulter, but her name on a Bible and other papers is spelled Colter.
She was a close friend of my mother-in-law, and so our family ended up with a Bible and a few papers of hers.
She may have had a son Robert Raymond Colter, who had a daughter, Diane Lynne Colter; or Robert Raymond Colter may have been a nephew. I do not know the name of Neva Colter's spouse.
We would like to learn a little more about Neva, and would also like very much to return the Bible and other papers to a descendant, or if no descendants, to a close family member.
