Thank you for putting out this link. John Colter was my ggggggrandfather.

Until I started doing genealogy research, stories of his tales were just stories past down thru the family. Boy was I surprised. I just returned from MO, IL & KY where I was able to meet some of the re-enactors portraying him as part of the L&C Bicentennial. What an awesome experience!!
