You were looking for information on family members of Daniel Colt b Jun 1872 who married Maude Wells b. 7 Oct 1872. My husband descends from this line as follows:

Daniel Colt and Maude Wells:
had 5 children:
Evelyn b. 21 Oct 1905 Winsted, CT d. 18 Aug 1983 in San Juan Capistrano, CA

Evelyn C. Colt married Conrad Hilding Hoaglund b. 14 Mar 1901 in New Britian, CT d. Oct 1979 in Middlesex, CT
They had 3 children:
Louis Jane b. 10 Jun 1937

all living. My mother in law is Louis Jane Hoaglund- Andrews- McPherson. Her brother Larry has 2 children and Phil has 3 (I will verify Phil as I have only met one of his children, Larry's family I know well.) Louis has 2 children, my husband being one of them.

I have done a fair amount of internet research and am now verifying it with "real" data. I do have info (not yet verified) that Benjamin Colt b. 30 Sep 1762 married Polly Hopkins and also Lucrietia Ely. It is through Benjamin and Lucrietia that Christoher Colt, father of Samuel Colt (of the colt revolver) was born. That would make Daniel the half brother of Christopher- that is the "Colt revolver" connection that I have found.

Let me know what you think
