I have a worksheet which was completed by J. B. Warren in the mid 1900's that says William Bethea Colquitt (1809-1878) married to Mary Miles had a dad named Alfred Colquitt who came to SC from Scotland and married a Bethea girl. I can find nothing to verify this. W.B. is my gggggrandfather.
