I thought I had answered your query. Nancy Singleton Holt's parents were Simon Holt and Sarah Hines. There is a book titled "The Hills of Wilkes County, GA." It has a few pages on the family of Simon and Sarah Hines Holt. I have read in this genforum that Walter Terry Colquitt went to Princeton. I have a book with a picture of Alfred Holt Colquitt which states that he went to the University of New Jersey at Princton, NJ. As you know, Alfred H. Colquitt was the governor of Georgia, a US Senator from Georgia, and a Brigader General of the CSA during the civil war. Alfred died in Washington, DC. around 1894. I do not know a lot about the Hines family. I have trace the Holt family back to a Robert Holt who came to St. Mary's, Maryland in 1646 with his wife and four children.
