Thomas Jefferson Colquitt and Ann Eliza Burkhalter were married at Buena Vista, Marion County, GA, April 14, 1853.
Children were:
Eulalia Colquitt, b. 1854, d. 1931;
Ida Colquitt, b. 1856, died in infancy; David Thomas Colquitt, b. 1859;
Oscar Branch Colquitt, b. 1861;
William Fletcher colquitt, b. 1864, d. 1929; John Milton Colquitt, b. 1866;
Pierce Colquitt, b. 1871.
Oscar Branch "O.B." Colquitt was born in Camilla, Mitchell County, GA, and moved to Texas with his parents in 1878. He married Alice Fuller Murrell of Minden, La., and had 5 children:
Rawlins Murrell Colquitt, b. 1887;
Sidney Burkhalter Colquitt, b. 1888;
Oscar Branch Colquitt, Jr., b. 1890;
Mary Alice Colquitt, b. 1894;
Walter Fuller Colquitt, b. 1896, d. 1910.
I am looking for information on the marriages of the other children of Thomas Jefferson Colquitt.
Specifically looking for any NICHOLS connection to this family. Know there is one because of family stories and naming in my family.
